My Story

My Story ~

My journey in UX design started as a humble hobby and side gig, but it quickly blossomed into my career. The transition from freelance brand and graphic design to UX design was a natural progression for me. Throughout every project I took on, I constantly evaluated how I could improve the experience, both for myself and my clients. My goal was to streamline processes and make them more efficient, ensuring a smoother ride for everyone involved.

I have a relentless drive for perfection in my work, always striving for the ideal processes. However, I've come to understand that perfection is an ever-elusive target, especially in a field where stakeholders, roles, technologies, products, and goals are in constant flux. To thrive in this dynamic environment, I've learned to stay agile and adapt quickly, carving my way through the challenges to discover the path of least resistance and greatest results.

I think the best way to get to know me is to know what kind of extracurriculars I involve myself in.

  • Director of Branding for Salty Skate Collective - a collective organized around creating safe spaces, events, and opportunities for non-traditional skaters (women, trans, femme, queer).

  • DJ Riri at KUAA - tune in to Family Dinner every Wednesday night from 7-10pm on 99.9 Fm or kuaafm.org

  • I dabble in art and have been showcased in local art shows and galleries with Sister, Utah Arts Alliance, and EVO.
